I was just working earlier this morning on some blog stuff and I saw an article on writers block and how to avoid writers block and even some things you can write about when you have writers block.Writer's block has never been a problem for me. MY problem is finding the time to type all I want to say.
This is day 2 of our juicing twice a day during the month of December to see how we feel by the end of December and already, it's a chore. The PROBLEM IS...getting TO the juice before the geezer is dressed and out the door working on something. I've even wagged it way out into the field TO him.
Soooooooo I've worked so late this morning...I'm going to have to get with it myself.
I was thinking on a few shorter things to talk about this morning and the list was loooooong, but I decided to do the story on the Trouble Tree. WHO AMONG US...does not have some kind of trouble ... way too often. And wouldn't it be nice if we HAD a trouble tree outside our doors so we didn't have to bring our worries in our homes.
But do you know WHAT? We CAN!!! ANYTHING can be a trouble tree....even that door knob that's going to let you IN your home...Just take hold of that door knob...grip it with both hands and release your trouble on to that door knob as best you can. One thing is for sure...baring a miracle...those troubles are going to be right there waiting on you the next time you walk outside anyway...so why not let them go while you're with the closest people in the world to you.
Peace and love from the canyon...thanks so much for stopping by and I love you all gobs and gobs.
Now I hope you'll take just one more minute to read....The Trouble Tree...
The Trouble Tree
by Author Unknown
The carpenter I hired to help me restore an old farmhouse had just finished a rough first day on the job. A flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric saw quit, and now his ancient pickup truck refused to start. While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence.
On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands. When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation. His tanned face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.
Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier.
"Oh, that's my trouble tree," he replied." I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children. So I just hang them on the tree every night when I come home. Then in the morning I pick them up again."
What a peaceful setting......this photo just makes me to 'aaaaaaaaaaaahhh'
